The Equity Market has ended higher with The BSE Sensex closed 101.90 points, or 0.36 percent up at 28179.08, while NSE Nifty index settled 15.90 points up at 8708.95. Nifty closing above 8700 level for the first time since October 6, supported by ICICI Bank, Tata Motors and ONG. In Nifty Idea Cellular, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Asian Paints and ZEEL slipped between 1.69 per cent and 3.57. On the other hand, ONGC, BPCL, Coal India, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank gained 2.53 percent and 4.50 percent.
