The Stock Market ended lower on Thursday, Sensex was down 50.95 points or 0.16 percent at 31,904.40 and NSE Nifty fell 26.30 points or 0.27 percent to 9,873.30 despite positive global cues. Market breadth about as 1283 shares were advancing against 1436 declined shares and 150 was unchanged in Sensex.
BSE Mid-cap index closed at 15,176 level, lower by 82 points or 0.54%. BSE Mid-cap index touched an all-time high of 15,275.91 level during today’s trade. BSE Small-cap index ended at 15,999 level, gained 24 points or 0.15%. BSE Small-cap index also touched its all-time high of 16,050.59 level during Thursday’s trade.
Axis Bank, ONGC, BHEL, HDFC Bank, and M&M was the top gainers. while Tata Steel, NTPC, Infosys, Sun Pharma, and Hero Motocorp were the major losers in the Sensex.
