Sensex Continues to Gain; Nifty Reclaims 8250

The Market has opened on a green note with the positive strength. Nifty reclimbed 8200 and continued to try to gains. Sensex trading at 26835, higher by 202 points or 0.76 percent, with lead by gains in Tata Motors, Adani Ports, ONGC, and Hero Motocorp. Nifty up 63 points or 0.78 percent at 8254. Out of 2786 stocks traded on the NSE, 572 declined, 1691 advanced and  523 remained unchanged today. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.90% at 12304, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading high 0.91% at 12485. 

NSE Gainers - Tata Motors 2.58%, Adani Ports 2.29%, Hero Motocorp 2.25%, Yes Bank 2.15%, Tata Motors (D) 2.11%.

NSE Losers - Bharti Infratel 2.03%, M&M 0.70%, Ambuja Cements 0.42%.

Sensex rises over 100 pts, Nifty consistent at 8150; Cement stocks up

The Equity market extended gains in morning trade on Wednesday. Nifty manage the previous level of 8,100 and Sensex trading above at 26,500. The broader market still outperforms benchmarks Today. Sensex trading at 26,515, gains 126 points or 0.48 percent. Nifty rose 45 points or 0.54 percent at 8186.10. About three shares advanced for every share declining on the exchange. BSE midcap index up 0.65 percent to 12,447, whereas BSE smallcap index up over 1 percent to 12303.50. The Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 68.67 per dollar versus 68.65 Tuesday.

ICICI Bank, Larsen, Adani Ports, TCS, and Maruti Suzuki are among the top gainers. Idea Cellular, Hindalco, Reliance, Tata Steel, and GAIL are the losers in the Sensex.

Stock in the news | Nifty hits 8650

On Wednesday Equity market opened with the positive note. Nifty hits 8650 in early trade. Sensex rose 194 points or 0.70 percent at 28169.015. Sensex reclaims the crucial level of 28,000. It touched a high of 28,210.88 and a low of 27,973.37 in morning trade. 

Nifty managed to reclaim 8650 and gain 63.50 points or 0.74 percent at 8654.40. It touched a high of 8665 and a low of 8593.85 in morning trade. 

The broader market traded in line with benchmarks as the BSE midcap index was up 0.8 percent and BSE smallcap index was trading 0.7 percent. 

Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Maruti Suzuki, Aurobindo Pharma, and Hindalco were the major gainer in the Sensex. 

Dr Reddy's Labs, Tata Steel, Axis Bank, Lupin, YES Bank, and Bajaj Auto were the top loser in the Sensex. 

The Indian  rupee fell 6 paise to 67.33 against the dollar. Dr Reddy's Labs declined 8.82 percent in  the Sensex.

Today in early trade market opens very strong note. Sensex bounces 460 points or 1.70 percent to 27587.49. Nifty was up 130.20 points or 1.59 percent at 8455.35. The market breadth strong about 4 shares advanced against every share falling on BSE. BSE midcap and smallcap index both increase above 1 percent. Bank Nifty showing  positive 1.7 percent at above 18320. All Sectoral indices traded green with PSU Bank (+2 percent), Realty (+1.6 percent), Infra (+1.7 percent), Energy (+1.4 percent), Metal (+1.5 percent).
