NIfty ended above 8650 | Sensex gained over 70 pts

On Wednesday, The Equity market has closed at the  flat note. Nifty closed its crucial support level of 8650. Sensex was maximum time hovers around 28000, While Nifty was around 6530 on Today. Sensex ended at 28059.94, up 69.73 points or 0.2 percent, Nifty gained 17.70 points or 0.2 percent at 8650.30. 

The market breadth was positive as about 1522 shares advanced , 1191 shares declined, and 204 shares were unchanged. 

The broader markets outperformed benchmarks, BSE midcap index rose 0.6 percent at 13024. BSE smallcap index up 0.7 percent at 12515. 

Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, Infosys, NTPC, and Sun Pharma were the top gainers. While Lupin, Tata Steel, TCS, Tata Motors, and Adani Ports were the major losers in the Sensex.

Stock Market Closing Updates | Nifty ended below 8700

On Tuesday, The end of the day market was consolidated on equity benchmarks. Sensex fell 97.41 points or 0.35 percent at 28,085.16. It was opened at 28,289.22 and closed at 28,085.16 It slipped to an intraday low of 27,956.77. 

Nifty failed to close above its crucial level of 8700. Nifty was down 33.10 points or 0.38 percent at 8,678.25. It was opened at 8,727 and closed at 8,678. It slipped to an intraday low of 8,638. 

About 1573 shares declined against 1189 advancing shares on the Bombay Stock Exchange. 

BSE midcap was down 0.35 percent at  12779.97 and BSE smallcaps index down 0.45 percent at 12338.22. 

Coal India, ONGC,SBI, Axis Bank and HUL were the top gainers. Lupin, HDFC, Hero Motocorp, M&M, and Tata Steel were the top losers in the Sensex. 

Bank Nifty was down 0.03 percent at 18933.30 while Oil & Gas down 0.88 percent at 10794.58.
