Stock Market Closing Updates | Nifty ended below 8700

On Tuesday, The end of the day market was consolidated on equity benchmarks. Sensex fell 97.41 points or 0.35 percent at 28,085.16. It was opened at 28,289.22 and closed at 28,085.16 It slipped to an intraday low of 27,956.77. 

Nifty failed to close above its crucial level of 8700. Nifty was down 33.10 points or 0.38 percent at 8,678.25. It was opened at 8,727 and closed at 8,678. It slipped to an intraday low of 8,638. 

About 1573 shares declined against 1189 advancing shares on the Bombay Stock Exchange. 

BSE midcap was down 0.35 percent at  12779.97 and BSE smallcaps index down 0.45 percent at 12338.22. 

Coal India, ONGC,SBI, Axis Bank and HUL were the top gainers. Lupin, HDFC, Hero Motocorp, M&M, and Tata Steel were the top losers in the Sensex. 

Bank Nifty was down 0.03 percent at 18933.30 while Oil & Gas down 0.88 percent at 10794.58.

Monday Stock Market Closing Updates | Sensex gains above 100 pts

On Monday end of the day, The equity market closed on the green note. Nifty hits above 8700. and Sensex surged over 100 points. Nifty closed at fresh 52 - week high. Sensex gained 104.22 points or 0.37 percent at 28182.57 and Nifty closed at 8711.385, rose 28.20 points or 0.32 percent. Nifty touched a high of 8,723.50 and a low of 8,697.60 in intraday trading.  About 1544 shares advanced and 1215 shares declined on Bombay Stock Exchange. BSE midcap and smallcap shares showed most active on today. BSE midcap index up 0.99 percent at 12824.32 and BSE smallcap index rose 0.71 percent at 12393.81. Bank Nifty surged 0.07 percent at 18939.45 and Oil & Gas was most positive, Its gained 164.74 or 1.54 percent at 10890.84.  Adani Ports ( up 2.80 percent ) , HDFC ( up 1.70  percent ), BHEL ( up 1.49 percent ), Reliance ( up 1.49 percent ), and Lupin ( up 1.46 percent ) were the top Sensex gainers. while Bharti Airtel ( down 3.11 percent ), Sun Pharma ( down 1.12 percent ), NTPC ( down 0.90 percent ),  ITC ( down 0.58 percent ), Larsen ( down 0.53 percent ),were the top losers in the Sensex.

Sensex bounces above 350 pts | Nifty ending at 15-month closing high

Equity benchmarks reclaim important levels and showed brilliant performance on Friday. Nifty ending at more than 15-month closing high. Sensex managed to move up to 28,000 and Nifty reached to nearly 8,700. Sensex closed at 28,078.35, up 363.98 points, or 1.31 percent. Nifty ended at 8,683.15, added 132.05 points, or 1.54 percent. 

Midcap and Smallcap index have seen strong note. BSE midcap indices advanced 1.7 percent at 12,700 and BSE smallcap indices gained 1.5 percent and ended above 12,300. 

Auto, metal, realty, banking, capital goods and oil & gas have seen strong note on the sectoral basis. Oil & Gas up 2.74 percent at 10726.10 and Bank Nifty closed at 18925.95, higher 1.91 percent. 

Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, and SBI were top gainers. and Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS were top losers in the Sensex. 

Hero Motocorp is the top gainer in the Sensex, up 5.02 percent. While Sun Pharma down 0.79 percent on BSE.
