Today The Equity market very consolidated. After a lot of struggle, the market was closed on the red note. Sensex has fallen 0.3 percent in this weekly session. While Nifty has flat in this week.
Sensex was slipped 46.44 points or 0.2 percent at 28077. Nifty fell 6.35 points or 0.1 percent at 8666.90. The market breadth was positive about 1480 shares advanced, 1237 shares negative and 182 shares are unchanged.
Bank Nifty closed today its highest level in the last 17 - months high. And midcap index made recorded high. BSE midcap index gained 0.52 percent to 13035.17 and BSE smallcap index was up 0.45 percent at 12459.46.
Sensex top gainers - SBI 4.15%, Tata Steel 1.32%, BHEL 1.25%, Cipla 0.72%, HUL 0.61%.
Sensex top losers - Coal India 1.36%, TCS 1.24%, Lupin 1.06%, Wipro 0.80%, Sun Pharma 0.77%.
