Sensex dives 465 pts on LoC turmoil | Nifty below 8,600

The Equity market index was too much volatile amid selling pressure  and register  a biggest one-day drop in last three months. After the Uri attack, India has stepped up the diplomatic offensive against Pakistan. Indian army had conducted surgical strike at terror launch pads. Nifty slipped below 8600 for the first time since august 16. Sensex loses 465 points. The market was whole day trade in decreasing direction and the end of the day fall in the land. Sensex ended at 27827.53, fell 465.28 points or 1.6 percent. Nifty ended at 8591.25, down 153.90 points or 1.8 percent. Sensex opened at 28,423.14 in morning trade, Touched a high of 28,475.57 and touched a low of 27,719.92 in intraday trading. Nifty opened at 8,792.70, Touched a high of 8,800.65 and touched a low of 8,558.25 in intraday trading.  
BSE Sensex Gainers - Bharti Infratel 2.36%, TCS 0.61, Zee Entertain 0.31%.
BSE Sensex Losers - BHEL 7.41%, Adani Ports 5.01%, Sun Pharma 3.84 ICICI Bank 3.76%, GAIL 3.19%.

  2. The market is still flat with the Nifty still below 8600. The 50-share index is up 1.60 points at 8592.85. The Sensex is down 11.53 points at 27816.00. About 1613 shares have advanced, 580 shares declined, and 130 shares are unchanged.
    GAIL, M&M, ONGC, SBI and BHEL are top gainers while Cipla, Coal India, Bharti Airtel, Dr Reddy's Labs and Adani Ports are losers in the Sensex.
